  • Shipping & Delivery
  • Delivery shall be deemed to have been made by You to Wheatgrass Home  (8) business days after the date sent.

    All in stock items shall be shipped within 24 hours of the reciept on standard working business days unless we need to confirm address, billing and or shipping information in which the order may be held until the customer is reached by phone or email. Orders received prior to 12:30pm Pacific Standard Time will be shipped out that day (99% of the time) except for the holiday months of November and December where orders may not ship same day due to shipping services being off and/or due to the large quantity of orders coming in.

    Backordered items will be shipped upon availability of the item unless cancelled by the customer prior to shipment. Please note WheatgrassHome reserves the right to cancel backordered items not shipped within 30 days due to the potential price volatility beyond the 30 day period.

    Damage Shipments, Shortages or Refused Shipments

    Any damaged or short shipments must be reported within 48 hours of their receipt.  For damaged shipments, the original box and packing materials MUST be held until the shipping carrier who delivered the item deems them unnecessary for claim purposes.  If not reported within 48 hours, we are unable to initiate a claim and the package is deemed as received in acceptable condition.  For all shipments refused by the recipient, all freight charges and fees, both to the customer and the return shipping from the customer, shall be paid by the customer that initiated the order.

    Defective Merchandise

    Any defective merchandise is subject to the terms and conditions as set forth by each manufacturer and their respective limited warranty.  The manufacturer’s warranty is in full effect once the product leaves the warehouse and is accepted by the customer.

    Special Order

    Some items listed in this catalog may be special order items.  You will be notified upon order receipt as to whether the item is a special order.  A 50% prepaid deposit is required with the order; the balance is due prior to item shipment.  Special order items are not returnable under any circumstance.  Delivery is subject to timelines set by the manufacturer and is not guaranteed.  Special orders may not be cancelled after the manufacturer has shipped the order. If the item has not yet shipped, cancellations are subject to a 10% administrative charge.

    At this time, Wheatgrass Home ships merchandise to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. We also ship to Canada at our discretion. Items labeled "free shipping" are for orders shipped within the continental USA. Orders shipped to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands and APO addresses require a shipping cost. There is a shipping surcharge to these locations. We will contact you if shipping charges vary from what is displayed on the website. Additionally, Wheatgrass Home does not ship to other international locations with exception to Canada. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.

  • Return Policy
  • Feel confident that all of the products we sell are brand new. We pride ourselves on selling the finest healthy living products available on the market. You may reurn your item as long as the item has not been used and includes all of its original packaging. You have 21 days from the shipment date to call us and initiate a return or exchange of an item. We unfortunately do not accept any used items. If you have used the item and noticed a problem please contact the manufacturer.

    Please understand the following:

    • Unauthorized returns will be refused without question. Wheatgrass Home must be contacted within 21 days of original order recipt to initiate a return and request Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number.
    • Returns must be recieved in the original brand new, unused, factory fresh condition with all packaging and components included with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the box. Shipping costs are the repsponsibility of the customer and there will be a $5-$20 handling and processing fee. Any items sent with free shipping must pay the original shipping costs plus the return shipping.
    • Used items are not returnable for health and safety reasons, as we have no way of knowing what has been processed through any given item. There is simply no way of cleaning an item to ensure it is 100% free of any previously processed foods, therefore, we simply cannot accept a used item back. With this policy in place, you can always buy with confidence from Wheatgrass Home, fully knowing that we offer only 100% brand new, factory sealed items.
    • To keep our prices low any returns received requiring replacements of any packaging shall be charged a re-boxing fee of $20. If the item is inspected by our service department is found used (even one time) there will be a 20% restocking fee. Shipping must be prepaid by the customer and all shipping fees associated with a customer order are non-refundable. RMA numbers are valid for 14 days from the issue date.
    • All items properly returned under this policy are eligible for a refund of the purchase price, minus the restocking fee and shipping. We will deduct our actual shipping and handling costs from any return that originally received free shipping.

    Here's how to Return Something:

    All returns must meet the above requirements to be eligible for a refund.

    Step 1: Obtain RMA
    Please contact Customer by email at support@wheatgrasshome.com to initiate the return process. If your return qualifies under the conditions outlines above, we will send you a RMA number and full instructions via email or fax. Many of our products are shipped to you directly from the manufacturer or fulfillment warehouse and the return address will vary. We will provide you with the appropriate return address at the time you request an RMA.

    Step 2: Prepare Shipment
    Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the shipping box. Items received without a valid RMA number will be returned to you at your cost. Please enclose a copy of the RMA email or order confirmation that was emailed to you. If you cannot send a copy of one of these records, please include your order number, billing name, and address with the item. A note regarding the reason for the return and the item's condition is appreciated.

    Step 3: Return Shipping
    Pack the item securely in the original package (including the box the item was shipped in or a new comparable box if the shipping carton was weakened by the initial shipment). We recommend using a shipping method that provides package tracking and insurance as you are responsible for the safe return of the item. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.

    Step 4: Refund
    Refunds are normally issued within 30 days of our receipt of complete, authorized returns. Credit will be issued in the same form as the original payment (i.e. credit card credit for items paid for by credit card or a Paypal refund items paid for through Paypal. Original payments made by cashiers check or money order shall receive a refund in the form of a company check.

    Refusing Shipment

    Refusing shipment on your order is not the proper way to cancel an order and will significantly delay refund or credit, and you will incur expenses needlessly. The reason for this is that many of our items are direct shipped from the manufacturer or our fulfillment center, and if you refuse shipment it will go back to them and not to us. It may take up to a month for Wheatgrass Home to be notified that they received your order back, so that we can refund you. If you refuse shipment, you will be charged a 20% restocking fee just like a return, as well as any return shipping charges that the carrier charges to us.

    Exchanging an Item

    You have 14 days from the date of shipment to contact Wheatgrass Home to initiate an exchange on an item. To exchange an item quickly, place an order for the new item by phone or the website and follow the above Return process on the item you wish to return. All items that you are returning for exchange are subject to the same criteria as the above Return Policy.

    Damaged or Defective Items

    If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us immediately at 888-669-0144. You may also email us. Please supply us with your order number and item number from your original confirmation email. We will also need your email address and phone number. We will make every reasonable effort to replace the item in a timely manner. For Damaged items, please keep all original packing materials including the original shipping box. This is required by the shipping carrier in order to support damage claims. If there is extensive damage to the carton, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately as above. Please have your order number available when you contact us.

    For Defective items, the manufacturer's warranty is in full affect. We will initiate and resolve as quickly as the manufacturer supports. Please keep in mind the manufacturer's response time is beyond our directly control.  In the event we send you a replacement in lieu of the manufacturer's response, unless advised otherwise, you are required to return the damaged or defective item within 30 days to avoid being charged for both the replacement and the original. Additionally, we can only replace the exact item and version you ordered.

    Wheatgrass Home reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you.

    Can I stop a package that has been shipped?

    No.

    I placed an order, but was shipped the incorrect item. What do I do?

    Call us for an RMA# Return Authorization Number. If you wish to have the correct item shipped out prior to us receiving back the incorrect item, we can do so, but you will be responsible for the original item's purchase price should it not get returned.

    My order appears to be lost/damaged in transit. What should I do?

    A claim needs to be filed for the damaged/lost package. You should contact Wheatgrass Home, and we will file a claim with the package carrier (Fedex or UPS). These claims can take upwards of 30 days.

    If the consumer would like a second shipment to be made, they will be charged for the replacement order and be credited for the lost order upon resolution of the lost package.

    I received a defective item. What should I do?

    We are not a warranty repair station, therefore, we cannot accept returns due to defective material or workmanship caused by the manufacturer, please contact the manufacturer first. Questions please call our Customer Service Department.

    I have not received product and I want to cancel the order. What do I do?

    Only orders that have not yet been shipped or are not in process can be canceled.  If the order has NOT YET shipped or is not in process, notify Wheatgrass Home via telephone to cancel the order. It is important to notify us immediately if you want to cancel an order, as most orders ship same-day.

    If the order has been shipped, the consumer will need to follow the normal returns process, if the package is refused then a return freight charge will be added.

    Does Wheatgrass Home issue Call Tags?

    Call tags will not be issued for any reason.

     What is a return freight charge?

    When a customer refuses a package or UPS or Fedex returns the package, UPS or Fedex  is charging an Undeliverable Package Return Charge. This amount will be billed to you as needed.

    What is an address correction and why am I being charged for it?

    Occasionally, Wheatgrass Home will be billed for an address correction. UPS charges $5.00 (or $10.00 for express packages) if the address given by your customer is not exactly correct. This amount will be billed to you as needed. 

    What is "New" condition?

    All products must be in new, unopened condition if it is being returned to Wheatgrass Home. Examples of new, unopened products: A piece of clothing that still has the tags attached and/or has not been worn. Any bubble-packed item that has been opened.

    Refused items will be shipped directly back to the customer, and will not be credited. Customer will also absorb the return freight costs. 

    How does Wheatgrass Home handle Back Orders?

    Our purchasing department is second to none in the industry.  Our systems control back orders and keep them to a minimum for your convenience. Otherwise, Wheatgrass Home does accept back orders and will get them fulfilled as soon as possible when they should happen to occur.

    Orders that have completed our data entry prior to 1:30pm Mountain Standard Time will ship the same day (unless in rare cases the item has become backordered) or the order needs to be verified. PLEASE NOTE, this is not the same as orders sent over at 1:30pm as the orders must be through our data entry by 1:30pm to ensure same day shipping. We reserve the right to cancel any orders and refund the order amount to any persons.
